Avery

Last December I had to have my 17 year old cat, Avery, put to sleep.  She had become quite sick and medication was not helping.  On the way to the vet for medication, I was sitting at a stop light and a car pulled up next to me with homepeteuthanasia.com written on the side.  Avery had been healthy and an indoor cat and not needed to go to the vet for years.  I knew she would be miserable if I had to put her in the car again and drive her to the vet’s office.  When I got home and looked Dr. Forslund up on her website, I knew that I needed to have her come to the house to put Avery to sleep.  I can’t tell enough people what a comfort it was to have Dr. Forslund come to my home where Avery was comfortable and walk me through the process.  She was kind, patient, and reassuring.  Everything was done at a pace I was comfortable with.  She waited while I cried and was so gentle with Avery.  Avery went peacefully in my lap in the bedroom she claimed as her own.  For an extremely difficult experience, I was so fortunate to have found Dr. Forslund to help make losing a pet a little less painful.
