Dear Dr. Forslund,
Thank you again for the care and compassion you extended towards Juno and me.
I did not know I needed a companion to walk my tumultuous journey, but God sent me Juno. I couldn’t have made it through widowhood, cancer, and everything in between without her by my side.
I am adjusting to life without Juno one day at a time. I have been in the U.S. 14 years and she was my companion for 13 of them. I rescued her from a shelter but I have always believed that she was the one who rescued me.
You saw Juno at the end of her journey, but I thought you might enjoy seeing who she really was. We were avid hikers, runners, and walkers. I always thought she had a lot of wolf in her. She loved wandering, exploring, playing in water, going up, up, up into the mountains. I can find peace, knowing she had a fabulous dog life and we gave each other everything we had.
Thank you again for your kindness. I have kept your information for a few friends who might need you some day.
Warm regards,
Susanne Rossler
