BK

BK definitely had a "big" personality and we miss him very much. He was the type of cat that was very social and would visit the neighbors when we were at work, so I had to tell them this week—and of course they were sad as well, as he was a big part of their lives over the years. If I could have cloned a cat, it would have been BK as he was such a great, cool cat. We are just so happy he decided that we were good enough to be his parents when he chose to permanently live with us.

Unfortunately, this was not our first time that we had to utilize Dr. Forslund's amazing service, but we are so thankful that she was available to help our beloved kitty leave this earth.  

Our kitty had been diagnosed with renal failure many months ago and we were watching him closely for signs of deterioration which happened very quickly. I called Dr. Forslund to tentatively schedule an appointment, hoping that our kitty would  take a turn for the better. She called me back within 15 minutes, remembering our kitty that she had helped pass a few years prior. She took the time to talk with me and tell me what she thought might be happening with our kitty and said she was there for me, no matter what we decided, and to call her or email her if I had any other questions. Shortly thereafter, our kitty let us know that he was ready to go so I called Dr. Forslund back to schedule an appointment that day.  



When Dr. Forslund arrived, I was still very upset and mentioned I was having a difficult time letting go of my kitty. She offered to examine him first to let me know if she felt it was the right time. She was so gentle and compassionate with my boy and said some amazing things that helped comfort me tremendously in the decision we were making. She then helped our kitty pass with the same dignity and grace with which he lived his life.



I can't recommend Dr. Forslund highly enough—you truly feel this is what she was meant to do. She has an amazing gift and is so gentle, compassionate and loving through the entire process, making a difficult time just a little bit easier. To let your fur baby pass in the comfort of his or her own home and surroundings is priceless, and I would not hesitate to use her services in the future. Thank you Dr. Forslund, from the bottom of our hearts. We support what you do wholeheartedly and think it's so important that pet owners know that you provide this amazing service, as we consider it priceless.
