Max

We first met Dr. Forslund when the staff at our veterinary clinic recommended her for in-home euthanasia services. We invited Dr. Annie to our home to meet Max, our 17 year old Golden Retriever, as we anticipated he would not be able to walk much longer and would need to be put down. 

 

Dr. Forslund was very gentle with Max as she assessed him, and recommended some palliative care measures for us to use during the last few months of his life. We followed her advice, and we kept Max comfortable until the day we finally had to arrange for euthanasia. Dr. Annie was very efficient, very caring, and had a methodology that reduced the stress of such an event for all of us. When Dr. Annie left with Max, he was positioned peacefully in the back of her minivan with a blanket pulled up to his chin.  What a sweet memory for us to have.
