It is with deep sorrow and grief that Delilah, my constant furry companion of over 12 years, lost her battle with Lymphoma Sarcoma on Friday evening, September 12, 2014. I feel blessed to have spent the past 8 years with her since she had cancer removed from her left eye.
Delilah was the sweetest little girl who loved the bird sanctuary in our yard especially the grey doves who were her friends. She was a light of joy to everyone she met with a kind and sweet soul beyond anything I have ever experienced.
Delilah was my Yoga Kitty partner, daily desk admin, nightly cuddler on the couch and avid watcher of her bird DVD’s.
Delilah will be missed…though it was with tears of joy that I felt her spirit everywhere in my garden this morning as I was feeding the birds and watering the flowers she so loved and would always peek out the door to watch me. My sincere heartfelt thanks to all of you, my mother, family and dear friends who have given so much love and support to me in such a difficult time. Greta, there are simply no words to express my appreciation for your support to be with me and Delilah in my home in her final moments. You have an incredible gift of providing comfort and love in such an incredibly impossible situation.
Delilah, Lila, my Yoga Kitty. You will always be with me in spirit and in my heart.
I love you and miss you.
