Rosie

Dear Dr. Forslund,

 

Thank you for your empathy, and all you do for those going through what we had to just a month ago. I don't see how it's possible for anyone to love their pet as much as we loved our Rosie. I was devastated by the cancer we fought for nine months. The loss of Rosie was something I just couldn't accept, especially since there seemed to be very little in the Gospel concerning pets in the afterlife. 

 

However, after searching the Scriptures, I now realize they will be with us forever, as resurrected beings; additionally, they will be able to communicate with us---as all animals will. This made it possible for me to make the determination to call you and make arrangements for you to come to our home and do what had to be done. 

 

We felt it would put Rosie at ease, as she has undergone so much trauma lately.She underwent two large surgeries and six radiation treatments all to no avail, and, until you checked her over we had no idea the cancer had spread to her lungs. This explained the way she was acting the last few weeks.
