I wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us get through one of the most heartbreaking days of our lives. We had no idea on Friday evening when we took our beloved 13 year-old Pug, Raisin out for a stroll in his red Radio Flyer wagon down to the shore, that it would be his last. Raisin had severe arthritis, and spine issues and could no longer walk but we managed his pain and he adored being carried (true to his breed) and loved his wagon and stroller. Over the last month he had a horrible inner ear infection that required extensive surgery and tests he probably wouldn't live through. After the antibiotics stopped working he declined. This last Saturday he never perked up. He refused food and water and it was very clear he was done fighting. I called your company after being given your flier by the vet and several friends. When Todd answered I couldn't even speak I was so devastated. He let me take my time and I made arrangements to end Raisin's suffering quickly.
I wanted Raisin to feel like it was just another normal day at home (only everyone was hysterically crying). You showed up and were dressed in your professional logo polo shirt and were so kind and calm and gentle. You took time to get to know Raisin and our family and informed us about each step. We never felt pressure. You gave us ample time and took such care in the way you handled Raisin. Covering the injection sight and giving us time alone with him during each step in the process. As difficult as it was watching our adored companion take his last breath and go lifeless in my arms.
Sincerely,
|
