Thank you Dr. Forslund for helping us make Jonesy's last breaths comfortable and peaceful. The front office staff at my Vet's Office had heard nothing but wonderful things about your service. I would tell my veterinarian that you were wonderful. Thank you again for your kindness and professionalism during this difficult time. The delivery of ashes to our home and being able to complete paperwork online made things easier for us.
Jonesy was funny, sweet, loyal and a little sneaky showing his displeasure at our absences by stealing and burying anything from party favor bags to loaves of bread to shoes and the 4 packages of hot dog buns we were planning to use for a July 4th party. We never once saw him with his legs up on any counter or table but he was the only one tall enough to pull it off. He also had a combo guilty and sad look once we found his buried "stash".
We adopted him as an older dog, just after we had lost our Scotty (dog). I wasn't planning on getting another dog but he was an unexpected surprise who won my heart quickly. I still think Scotty may have sent him my way from heaven because he was an absolute angel. He slid into our house like butter, happily taking his place as lowest on the totem pole behind his corgi sister Abby (still with us) and cocker sister Lucy (who he joined in heaven).
We only had him just over 6 years but he left us with such sweet, warm and funny memories that he will make my heart smile forever! He was comfortable on his sofa. What a way to go!
