Thank you for your support, it is encouraging. Dr. Dior was so kind, empathetic, and supportive. She did not push us or rush at any point, and thoroughly explained everything with compassion. The amount of compassion that you and the staff have shown me have helped me through this journey. To know there are genuine people who truly care about my feelings has been a blessing. You are angels on earth and I can’t thank you enough for your kindness and support.
In 2005, an acquaintance was going to take a 4 week old puppy to a shelter. My bleeding heart would not allow that, so I took the little puppy that fit in my hands home with me. I had never had a dog before, and I had not asked permission, so I hid him in a box with a blanket. Day 3 my mom asked what was in the box. I showed her the puppy and told her the story. She shook her head and sighed. He was ours. I named him Rosco Sanchez. He was bottle fed every 4 hours for weeks until he was big enough to eat puppy food. Rosco was a rambunctious boy and grew fast! He loved car rides, walkies, swimming, and treats, especially treats. Rosco was the light of my life; the first thing I saw when I woke up and the last thing I saw when I went to bed. When he got sick, I didn’t know it would be our last month together. It was a tough last few weeks for him, and I wish there was more I could have done to help ease his pain. We went through rigorous and expensive testing only to find there was a neurological issue that was untreatable. Our family made the decision to say goodbye to our sweet boy Rosco at our home, surrounded by his family and friends. We all had our chance to give him our love before he took his last breath. I held my sweet baby boy Rosco until the end. He was my world and my heart is broken, but everyone at Home Pet Euthanasia has really helped me in my grieving. Brian and his wife Deanna at Paws & Claws Aquamation and Memorials helped me with after care for Rosco, and they are amazing people that truly care and understand the grief pet owners go through. Nobody ever wants to say goodbye, but knowing there is an option to say goodbye at home with the help of people that genuinely care about you help make everything a bit easier.
I miss you Rosco Sanchez and will always love you
