Milo was the first cat that I owned on my own. I rescued him when he was just 6 months old while I was a sophomore in college. I like to think that he chose me. At the shelter, he kept sticking his paw outside the cage...like he wanted me to hold his hand! At that, I knew we were going to be inseparable. Milo was the best cat ever. He was equally sweet and grumpy! Even from a young age, I always said he was a grumpy old man! You could be petting him and he would be in heaven and then next minute he was annoyed and biting your finger. He was truly my snuggle bug. Slept next to me every night. Even after I got married, he was right next to my head snuggling with me. I thought I was always Milo's favorite, that was until I met my husband. I was quickly replaced! He loved my husband so much. Milo would nuzzle up to his head and even bite his hair. We think it was Milo's way of showing love! Our house has not been the same without him in it, but we cherish the memories with him and think of him often. We had 14 amazing years with him. He was my companion through my singleness and then at the beginning of my marriage.
Dr. Annie, thank you again for helping us during that difficult time and taking such good care of our boy!
Sincerely,
Taylor and Katie Friend
