Please know how much we appreciated what Dr. Daniel did for us and for Bo. Dr. Daniel was kind, compassionate, calm, and took his time to ensure we knew and we were ready for each step of the process. Our situation was a bit unusual and the whole thing was handled respectfully and graciously.
Bo was only 5. Bo was a beloved member of our family and our 2 year old son’s best friend. We never expected to be in this situation so few years after bringing Bo into our family. We had been fighting severe skin infections and ear infections for almost 3 years. Each episode was getting progressively worse and we had tried everything to heal him. And I do mean everything...shampoos, conditioners, medicated/soothing creams, allergy drugs, oral and cream steroids, oral and cream antibiotics, no baths, frequent baths, etc. Truly, the list goes on and on. He was living in a cone, on 8 benedryl a day, and was constantly trying to scratch/dig a hole in his head, belly, and legs. At one point his skin infection had taken over 60% of his body. We had multiple vets tell us that there was nothing they could do for him, but that he was only 5 and had “non-life threatening” ailments. Your team listened to us and understood that this was the last thing we wanted to do but was the only option left. Bo had lost all quality of life and was miserable. Thank you for helping us end his misery and give him the peaceful exit we so desperately wanted. It is awful to lose pet. We are so grateful for Dr. Daniel and Home Pet Euthanasia for helping us through this.
