Dr Lily was absolutely the most compassionate, amazing human I have ever met. I bless her every time I think of Tommy because of the kind and gentle care we received. Please say thank you to her, from me.
My beautiful boy, Tommy enjoying the view at Laguna Beach. He was 6 years old. When darling Doctor Lily came to our home on Monday Sept 13 to help him go over the rainbow bridge he was almost 17 years old. He was my constant companion, through good times and bad. Even though my heart is broken the procedure was absolutely astounding. Dr Lily explained everything clearly and was mindful of our privacy. She allowed us to go through the process at our own pace. My boy was lying on our bed with both of us next to him. That morning my sister and I had taken him for a long walk so he was really tired and by the time I got on the bed next to him he was already fast asleep. Dr Lily came in so quietly and administered a sedative and I could feel my boy becoming heavier in my arms. After 5 minutes she came in and asked us if we were ready for the euthanasia. Once done, he breathed twice and then he was gone. The whole process was so kind for him, he just went to sleep after his walk and never woke up again. We put him in his stroller and transferred him to a cot at Dr Lily’s car.
Our veterinarian recommended Home Pet Euthanasia to us, and we in turn recommend them to all the pet owners out there who will have to go through this process one day. Don’t take your beloved animal to a cold sterile room. Do it the kinder, more loving way.
