Congressman Monkey

My very first baby, Monkey, has gone to Heaven. He was the most amazing companion I ever could have wished for – truly the sweetest, gentlest dog I’ve ever known. He will be so very missed. I pray he is up there happy, healthy, enjoying snacks, and playing ball with his Gampy who was waiting there to greet him with a hug and a belly rub. I still ache and miss him everyday but am very comforted by how he left this world. Dr. Forslund's tremendous kindness towards me, Monkey, and Monkey's litter-mate was phenomenal. She allowed Monkey to leave this world with such gentleness, love, and dignity. I am forever grateful.
