Athena

Athena was our family protector for 14 years. There are so many wonderful memories we have of her since she was a puppy.  Even at her old age, she looked forward to her daily walks to the park.  She loved to walk off-leash and smell everything.  She actually ran for the first time in years about a week before her death.  We miss her every day, but know that she is in a better place.

Having the service performed in the comfort of our home made things easier.  The event went better than expected.  I just want to say that this was quite an experience.  I don’t think anyone plans on these things.  Athena was part of our family for 14 years.  It was one of the most difficult decisions of my life.  In hindsight I made the right choice.  I could not have asked for this to go any better.  Once the call was made, Dr Forslund handled everything.  I couldn’t have asked for anything more.  Thank you for everything.
