Captain Baboon

My first baby, Baboon, has gone to see Monkey and Daddy in Heaven. As much as his absence here hurts, we're comforted to know he is so, so happy playing ball with his brother and Gampy somewhere on a sunny beach, and resting for an occasional belly rub or fanny scratch. I never knew such a stud of a dog who was also so incredibly loving and faithful, and I was so grateful for the way he instantly took Baby Piper under his wing with such a patient and protective spirit. Baboon had so much love in his heart and he added so much joy to this world. He will be forever missed. Once again, Dr. Forslund's tremendous kindness towards Baboon and me was phenomenal, and she helped Baboon into his next world with all the kindness this amazing pooch deserved. We are forever grateful.  Truly, I cannot thank you enough for giving Baboon the most gentle, loving, and dignified departure he could have had.
