In loving memory of Bandit, our baby giant. April 19th, 2004 to January 21st, 2013.
Dr. Forslund,
I would like to thank you and Todd for your kind words and the follow-up call I received. It is so nice to know I am understood and supported. At times, I wonder if taking Bandit's life away was the right thing to do and I stay up at night wondering if I will ever see my baby again before the end of time. I know everybody wonders the same thing. How nice would it be to be sure!
I received the death certificate and other documents in a package and I will be sending several items to you very soon. Thank you, Dr. Forslund, for your professionalism and admirable capacity to love.
Dr. Forslund, thank you for the kindness and patience you showed my mother and me. You connected very well with Bandit and helped to calm his nerves. You helped make one of the most painful days of my life bearable. I think I also will be turning to your Pet Loss Support Group in order to cope.
On another note, I wanted to congratulate you on Bandit's lovely paw print. We absolutely loved it! Thank you so much for your attention to detail. You've helped make this process bearable.
Thank you, Dr. Forslund, for all that you have done for us. The follow-ups from you and Todd were wonderful and really helped. I have several friends that have learned about your services through my story. I have shared your pamphlets and business cards with them for the future moments in which your services may be needed. Please also let the management team from Peaceful Paws know that we appreciate their professionalism. Keep up the great, compassionate work. You all make a huge difference in society.
Have a lovely week. Thank you again.
With gratitude,
Vanessa Garcia

We all cry the same tears
Tears of fright
Tears of sadness
Tears of loss
Tears of frustration
Tears of disappointment
Tears of loneliness
Lands are flooded with our tears
We need one another's kindness, cooperation, trust, & respect to survive.
Bandit, thanks for showing us how to live. Your love is our shelter. See you soon, in another place and time.
