This was my first euthanasia experience. Dr. Meg was very nice and professional, and she explained everything that she was doing ahead of time. She was calm, which assured me that everything would go ok. She pet Chunka and talked to her. I could tell that she loves animals and was confident in her work.
I was very happy with my service at Home Pet Euthanasia. After I left a message, I was called back quickly by Dr. Forslund, who was nice and caring. She scheduled the appointment at the time I was comfortable with. After we put Chunka to rest, it was great to have the handled carrier and purple blanket to cover her with. I helped carry her to the car, which I was happy and proud to do. It was a very smooth transition. Dr. Meg called a couple days later to see how I was doing—that was awesome! Todd was very nice when I ordered the paw print.
This referral from my vet, Dr. Saul Morfin (Banfield in Murrieta) was a life-saver for me! I didn’t want Chunka to pass at the doctor’s office with no comforts of home. Since this was not expected, I wanted to spend her last day with her inside our home sitting on the couch, which was her favorite thing to do. I would highly recommend this service to anyone in this situation. In fact, I now carry your business cards with me in case a friend or acquaintance needs a referral.
I can’t thank you enough for everything you have done and provided, including the death certificate, Chunka’s fur, and card from Dr. Meg. I am very impressed with your service and compassion. Receiving this packet in the mail has helped me start the healing process.
Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Kim Stauffer & Chunka
