Dr. Forslund (Annie) -
Thank-you very much for your loving attention to Jenna early this morning - she could not have been in better hands. We are truly grateful.
Your kind and gentle approach, patience and ability to meld with our family during this very difficult time is a God send. Please continue your merciful work for others, as the loss of any family member is such a devastating blow. We thought of (and think of) Jenna as an angel, her positive life force glowed like a warm light - to know that you performed the procedure in HER home was exactly the right call. While thoughts of Jenna's passing are still very fresh in our minds, we think about last night as one of the most peaceful episodes in the ordeal.
For the rest of our time, the memories of Jenna's final hours will be of peace, quiet and calm. This was the only way to say goodbye to our Dear Jenna, such a loyal and true friend to us - and all she met. She is playing in the fields - and we will see her again.
Our Thanks,
The Whittingtons
It is with sad hearts we announce our Dear Jenna's passing. A veterinarian came to our house to perform the procedure after a difficult day. She went very quietly and comfortably on the living room floor at home with her family around her. Her remains will be cremated and be buried in the backyard under St. Francis.
Jenna was such a part of our family for her thirteen years. Her memory will always be a part of our lives, and for those of you that met and pet her, you helped make her a very happy pup.
Jenna - We will miss you and your unconditional love, you made us better people.
