Dr. Meg was outstanding. She was infinitely patient, caring, and sensitive to our requests. Being able to be with Jake in his favorite place, with his favorite toys, surrounded by his loving family, we have such a peace about our decision. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that making the decision was far worse than witnessing the actual act.
We feel as if we gave Jake a gift, sparing him from the inevitable pain and suffering that was headed his way. Thank you for providing a way for us to do this, and for helping to take something awful and turn it into something good.
