You and your staff provided a wonderful service. What a wonderful gift to give a beloved pet, to die comfortably at home, in familiar environs, surrounded by loved ones. While the passing of pet is difficult, experiencing it at home is both a dignified and peaceful way for an animal to pass.
Dr. Meg was fantastic! She was compassionate, professional, and made the process comfortable for both me and my lovely little boy, Buster. She saw the close relationship I had with Buster, and honored that relationship in a dignified, professional manner. After discussing the process, she helped me give Buster one last, loving gift; to die peacefully at home, laying in my lap one last time.
Buster was a rescue cat, and my constant companion for over ten years. Once I earned his trust, we were best buddies. Whether demanding some lap time every morning or spankings every evening, Buster was always by my side. The best thing about our relationship was our communication. Be it certain behaviors,
chattering, or both, he always let me know what he needed, what he wanted. Whether it was greeting me at the door, waking me up for food, or grabbing toys for play, Buster was the best animal companion a person could hope for. Oh, and always with the fleece blankets; that was his thing.
While I miss Buster every single day - and fight back tears even now - I’m am so very grateful for the time we shared together. I take comfort in knowing he not only had a good life, but also a good death. Thank you, Home Pet Euthanasia, for such a dignified and deserving send off for my little boy Buster.
With regards,
