Dr. Annie, thank you for your kind and gentle spirit. You are soft spoken and thoughtful. Your focus was on the comfort of our family and of Figgy. One hundred percent. You brought a peace with you and in a horrible moment and comforted the choice I had made to spare my loving little Figgy anymore pain. I'm also not the best with emotion but I believe that what and how you, Dr. Annie helped us should be shared. Thank you so much for everything. Thank you Dr. Annie for ending the suffering of my Figgy and helping him not endure more. And for helping our family cope with something that is mostly unbearable.
Figgy loved me, the other kitties and food. He really loved food. Whether it was his, another cats or mine (that he stole of the table when I turned my head). Figgy was diagnosed with a fiber-sarcoma in his mouth. It was located on his gum and even though majority had been surgically removed, it came back. First slowly and then quickly. When it became difficult for Figgy to eat, he persevered and continued to try. Almost as if he knew it would give himself more time with us. I don't know if anyone will ever love me as much as Figgy did. Sometimes I think if he could have been psychically attached to me, he would have. I miss him everyday. We all do, kitty siblings included.
I was recommended to you by several people over the years but with my other kitties the circumstances had been different. But now, if and when it happens again, I know who to call. Who I can trust with the most delicate situation and who will give my fur kids a gentle loving end. For all your follow up and the kindness you afforded us and me. And so Figgy deserved, like all animals, to go out with the dignity and respect that anyone could be afforded. Dr. Annie did that.
Thank you,
