They say “sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory”...With Payne and I, that was never true. I knew how lucky we were to have each other. I told her countless times everyday how much I loved her. I never missed an opportunity for kisses or cuddles. My dogs have always been my first priority. To me, my dogs are not pets, nor are they just family or my best friends. My dogs are a piece of my heart and soul. And yesterday, a piece of me died. This kind of loss I will never get over. I will miss you Payne for the rest of my life. I like the idea that she’ll be waiting for me and we’ll see each other again in the end. It’s a nice thought.
