Our Jet was with us for nearly 18 years. She was afraid of balloons, shadows, the occasional floor and was one of the gentlest creatures I’ve ever known. She was the only dog we ever had that could pull an entire pizza off the counter and eat it before we could say “NO!!.” Jet played well with others smaller than herself and leaped in open spaces with the grace of a gazelle. A hug from Jet was a gentle press of her head against you which always garnered pets and adoration. Even during the final year of life, Jet was sweet and never complained.
