Avery

After reading Dr Forslund’s website, I knew that I needed to have her come to my home to put Avery to sleep. I can’t tell enough people what a comfort it was to have Dr. Forslund come to my home where Avery was comfortable and walk me through the process. She was kind, patient, and reassuring. Everything was done at a pace I was comfortable with. She waited while I cried and was so gentle with Avery. Avery went peacefully in my lap in the bedroom she claimed as her own. For an extremely difficult experience, I was so fortunate to have found Dr. Forslund to help make losing a pet a little less painful.

There are not enough words to convey my gratitude for the compassionate and professional manner in which Dr. Forslund attended to my dear Arrow on his last day. Arrow was my gift from God, my fur angel.When it was time for him to leave this earth I knew it couldn't be in a cold sterile environment where he would have been frightened and confused. Instead he was content in his own yard that he enjoyed so much, with the people who loved him by his side. Dr. Annie made the transition for Arrow and myself easier just by her caring presence.

Our beautiful and beloved cat, Daffodil, passed away this fall. We are heartbroken and devastated to lose this amazing, funny, loving, faithful, handsome-as-all-getout angel. We were blessed to have him in our lives for 15 years. We know he is playing all sorts of silly games with the angels now, and we wish them luck because he always wins.

Your kind words and the sweetness with which you treated both us and Daffodil was so appreciated. And receiving Daffodil's ashes was made just a bit easier by the way the ashes were presented to us. The box is so beautiful and the paw print was deeply meaningful. I am also very grateful that you called soon after to offer the help of a grief counselor. Just the fact that you took the time to do that was comforting.

I would like to let you know how thankful I am for you and the service that you provide. You truly helped make a difficult situation bearable. I still miss seeing “Hey Cat” and her attitude when I come home from work each day. I know it was the right and only fair decision based on circumstance that I could make for her and your compassionate nature and assistance helped us both be at peace. Hank & Kitty continue to be a blessing in my life and am thankful I get to enjoy them and snuggle with them each day. I miss my boy terribly but have made peace with the situation. Though I do still look in familiar places for Udo and walk the yard often just to remember, and will probably continue to do so for some time. I know it was the right thing and am at peace with it.

Carmella was my sweet girl for 11 years and I was devastated when she fell ill. I raised her from a kitten in my quiet peaceful home with her cat companions where she had a loved and pampered life.
