 I remember so vividly that moment. Vittoria did something so valiant, and she got up one last time, with great effort, and walked over towards you as you were warming the anesthesia. She was ready...and she knew you made that connection with her- you were going to help her. That's how I choose to see it.  
You have been impacting others’ lives and helping our loved ones in moving on...

Gizmo was the only kitten in the litter with an extra claw, which made his feet look bigger and fluffier than the rest.  Gizmo was one of a kind and was loyal, patient, and loving right to the very end of his 18 year run.  Letting Gizmo go was one of the most difficult, painful things I ever had to do.  It just was not fair to him and I couldn’t bear to see him not have the quality of life he deserved.  I wanted him to retain his dignity and pride.  I am so thankful that we were able to have him pass at home in my husband’s arms, the arms that first picked him up when he was a kitten.

Thank you Dr. Forslund for helping us through our terrible loss and helping Gizmo pass peacefully in our home.  I am so happy that you care enough to drive all over the southland to help our loving pets at any time of the day.  You are a true blessing!

Rugby had a rock star life filled with celebrity encounters and blueberry facials. He touched all who knew him. When not vacationing, I mean working, at the St Regis, Rugby loved his home away from home...

Katie and her 2 siblings were rescued by a Garden Grove mail carrier (someone was placing them in a trash can).  I was lucky enough to adopt my sweet girl.  Katie purred continually and sometimes put her paw across my neck in bed at night.  I miss her very much.  Thank you so much for your kind handling of my sweet baby Katie.  I received the death certificate, paw print, hair clipping, etc...  I am very pleased with your services and am so glad Katie was able to leave us peacefully in her home.

Thank you for making Yoda’s last moments as peaceful as possible. Instead of being scared at a veterinary hospital, his last moments were spent protecting the house he loved and cuddling in his bedroom with me. I can’t express in words how grateful I am for your kindness and help. You made an awful situation much more bearable.

Dear Dr. Annie,

We are sending you a heartfelt thank you.  It is still painful (for me) to drive in the garage, open the door to the house and see only an empty hall.  But my pain is mitigated by the knowledge that he felt no pain.  That was of most importance.  I believe that in someway our Nicky is sending you a love letter.

Jill was my 1st dog, but not my first shelter rescue.  Jill was such a gentle, soulful pet and friend for 7 yrs.  She was a fast learner and very willing to please.  She taught us love, patience, forgiveness, and loyalty.
Dr. Annie was a referral from my neighbor.  I would not have to go through what so many owners struggle with: the "last" trip to the "scary" vet...having our last memories together in a scary place.  Dr. Annie was immediately compassionate on the phone and extremely knowledgeable about animal conditions, so I felt both an emotional comfort with her as well as trusting confidence.  At our home, she sat and introduced herself to Jill, who melted under her petting and soothing voice.  As hard as it was on us, it was amazingly easy on Jill.
Dr. Annie is "present", and not just before, and during, but after, with a compassionate ear and referrals if needed for the family.  
Rest in Peace, Jill.  We feel you around us, and some day, we will hug you and run with you again!

Dear Dr. Forslund,
Terry and I want to thank you again for helping us with the very difficult decision to put Max to sleep.  Your kind way not only with Max but with us too made his final moments easier to bear.  Max was a dog that shook and cried as soon as he saw the car headed for the vet's office, and getting him to walk in the office, much less stay there, was always a challenge.
Thank you for making something so sad be bearable and for being available so Max could have dignity in his passing.
