Dear Dr. Annie,
We were so blessed that you were there to help our family in our time of need.  Thank you, Dr. Annie for doing what you do and for ministering to a mighty little dog who needed you in a life and death situation.  I am so lucky to have had her in my life and lucky we all had you to help her pass in peace.  Thank your husband Todd and Ron who answered my call.

Toby was 15, Brownie was 16 - they brought so much happiness to our family for all those years.  We miss them being by our side and the love they gave us every day.  Thanks to all of you, it's a comfort to know they walked over the Rainbow Bridge together in peace.  We called on Dr. Forslund two years ago and we were very impressed with her compassion for us and how she made the passing of our dog Frisky so peaceful.  We knew we wanted Toby and Brownie to have the same loving transition and that’s exactly what they received from Dr. Meg.  Dr. Meg was caring and professional and was so gentle and calm as she helped Toby and Brownie pass on peacefully.  We were so comforted by her compassion-- she made this difficult time a bit easier for us to go through.

Charro the Calico was a challenge to love in the early years.  But she was beautiful, and luckily healthy, and over the years she mellowed and we grew closer.
I miss Charro, especially in the early mornings, when she was sweet and affectionate and welcomed my attention. I’m grateful for my roommate’s two cats that have been visiting me often and especially for my sister and Dr. Annie Forslund, who made it possible to say goodbye to my beloved cat in the most gentle and respectful way possible. Home euthanasia was heartbreaking but the only option for Charro. She deserved the calm, peace, and loving exit that she could only get in her home, with me stroking her head and soothing her with my voice.

Shumi gave us so much love!  We did not want to carry her to the vet’s office so we thought that the best solution was to have Dr Forslund come to our home.  Dr Forslund stayed with our pet while she was falling asleep.  She talked us through the whole procedure and we felt very at ease asking questions.  We did not have to wait in a vet’s office lobby  The service was very personal.

Dearest Dr. Annie,

Yesterday was so difficult and heartbreaking to let our dear boy go but with your loving, kind, gentle way our Ben left this earth so peacefully.  There was no doubt that it was time for Ben to leave that old painful body.

Thank you Dr. Annie.  I admire what you do, you are so very kind and understanding. I feel blessed that you were here for Kris, me and our Ben.

Thank you for your follow up.  It was indeed very difficult to let go of Tank, and most days I do well by realizing he is in a better place and, more importantly, no longer in pain.  I thank you for providing the loving caring service that you do. It was a passing of dignity and peace without stress. Because of it, Tank’s last hours were spent at home with the family who loved him and whom he loved in return.

Miko passed away on Tuesday, June 11.  She was 12 or 13 years old.  We rescued her from Agua Dulce 10 years ago. Her passing was facilitated by a wonderful and compassionate vet named Dr. Annie Forslund, DVM.  Dr. Annie came to the house so we could all be together.  We got to sit with Miko and say our goodbyes.  She made her very comfortable and we are grateful to her.
