For our loving, lil' Joe Bear (Joey). I always envisioned at the end of his life that he would fall asleep in our home and pass on in a peaceful slumber. This is what Dr. Annie Forslund offered to our compassionate, loving little boy. I was able to create an atmosphere of calm for him, with music and lighting. Dr. Forslund's manner from the beginning was in synch to this gentleness we wished to provide for Joey. It was a very personal and spiritual event. Thank you, Dr. Forslund. And to our little Joe Bear…your sweet nature and loving heart remains steadfast in our home. We will endeavor to hold this love here always.

Our Nefertiti, Queen of our Hearts, was with us for 13 ½ years. She was in good health most of her life and enjoyed countless walks, had a queen’s treasury of toys that we played with daily, slept with us, celebrated life’s joys with us, and was such a steadfast comfort during challenges. Working from home I spent more time with Nefertiti than anyone else: she was my best friend.

I am just so tremendously grateful at the divine providence that connected us with Dr Forslund for this service. She is the most compassionate and loving veterinarian. The incredible detail and care that she takes to provide for the comfort of both the pet departing and the family saying goodbye is extraordinary. Thank you again, Dr Forslund. Although we are still grieving and will always miss her, we are at peace knowing we not only gave her a good life filled with love but also a beautiful, peaceful, loving departure.

We love you, Nefertiti. Thank you for being our Queen!

More than 15 years of love!

Having Kroger euthanized at home made things so much easier and less stressful. He even got to eat his favorite ice cream in his last minutes. I want my vet, Dr.Heidi Tschauner from Brook Ellis Pet hospital, to know that it was wonderful to do it this way. If the end is able to be planned for, this is absolutely the best way for the pet and the parents.

Styler was a loyal, great friend. Fifteen years went by so fast. He is greatly missed, especially by his partner in crime, “Tucker.” We’ll see him on the other side.

Home Pet Euthanasia made things so much easier by doing the procedure at our pace, in our home, in a totally relaxed manner for Styler, without anxiety. The proceedings were peaceful and respectful, leaving our family feeling peaceful.

The process that Dr. Annie Forslund helped facilitate was the most warm and loving way our Ziggy could have passed on. He had all of his pack members present, sending tender loving energy his way, as he passed seemingly into a restful sleep. This is really the only way I can see myself saying goodbye to any of my animal pack members. It is a wonderful non-traumatic way for all involved! I am so glad in-home, end-of-life services like this are available to us to ensure a sweet, final memory.

This referral from my vet, Dr. Saul Morfin (Banfield in Murrieta) was a life-saver for me! I didn’t want Chunka to pass at the doctor’s office with no comforts of home. “Little Miss Independent”—that is what I called this dear, little, agile, black cat named Snoopy. Snoopy was an “I’ll do it myself” kitty. She decided when she should eat and howled at me relentlessly until I served her meal. She led her brother, Happy, around the house on merry chases. . . .

Dr. Annie, your visit today meant more than I can put into words. You have a calming effect that goes beyond most human beings. I really felt peaceful about Snoopy's passing after you left. Thank you so very much, dear Dr. Annie. You are a true angel in this world.

This is my Cecil, beloved family member, much loved companion and bed partner. Cecil came to me when he was 10 months old, after he had been abused and given up because he got too big!

We had a wonderful life together. May of 2014 it was time to say good bye, rest in peace, and be pain free. Cecil passed peacefully at home on his own bed, with me laying by his side.
