On behalf of Zack and my surviving canine partner, Abbie, we are grateful to Home Pet Euthanasia. Dr. Lily is compassionate and did not rush the approach. She was so respectful of our wishes and desires. She took the time to get to know all of us. She also checked-in with me on how I was during the precedure. I thought she was very tactful how she prepped for the precedure.

Zack admirably served not only as a Pet Therapy volunteer but as my canine partner with HOPE Animal Assisted Crisis Response.  Zack was a rescue that achieved highest ranks in obedience training. Zack’s passing was peaceful, dignified and compassionately administered.  In-home euthanasia ensured Zack’s transition to a more comfortable existence with the love of his earthly family at his side. I can take comfort knowing that we gave him the best both in life and as he journeyed through death.

Dear Dr. Annie, 

I don't know how you do it. Got to be a hard job but I know us pet owners are glad that someone offers this service. I am happier knowing she was at home. There is some solace in that.

I have had a lot of animals and dogs in my time but my Roxy girl was special. Roxy was fortunate enough to grow up in one house and live out her entire life there.  Which was one of the main reasons I wanted her to leave this world in the same place.  Her soul will remain with me.  She is missed and cherished in my heart for all time...

Dear Dr. Annie,

Thank you for caring. I am so glad your service was available to us.  Even though it was so very sad to see him go, it was so peaceful and compassionate. The vet who came to our house, I believe it was Julie, was very kind and understanding.

Alfredo was a 2 year old stray who found me and decided to hang around until I let him come in. I have not once regretted it. He stayed with us for 13 years and was a delightful and funny companion. 

Dr. Annie,
I do want you to know that you made the experience 100% easier for me and for that I am grateful. It was and still is one of the most heart wrenching things I have ever experienced but I can thank the spirits that intervened for bringing to me you, Dr Annie Forslund.  I cannot attempt to express the peace you were able to give us both.  We were one.  Together my baby girl Kobe and I hung on to all of our lives past and could only see a forever-together future.   If you ever find yourself wondering what to do, contact Home Pet Euthanasia and if you’re fortunate enough to have Dr. Forslund by your side, you’ll know it was meant to be.

Dear Dr. Forslund,

I cannot thank you enough Dr. Forslund and your staff for your service.  I feel very fortunate to have found it.  It provides the owner to safely see their pet into their next journey, lovingly and serenely.

GG was only seven and I had hope to have her for a lot longer.  The time we had was great whether it was throwing the ball in the back yard or letting her stick her head out  the sunroof  for car  rides.   GG had a nick name which was “Pony” because she was such a big dog.  We could always count on finding who ever knock on the door at the curb due to her loud commanding bark...

I will always choose to release my loved pets from suffering with Dr. Forslund. Being able to spend those last minutes comforting my sweet baby surrounded by friends and in the comfort of home makes it such a special farewell. NEVER easy but I get to remember that my sweet boy was cared for with compassion by Dr. Annie and her team. I miss you terribly Munch, so does Kat and Daisy. There is a spot missing in my heart that can't be replaced but I know you can run free now big guy.

Hello Dr. Annie,

Dr. Meg was so WONDERFUL!!! She was so very kind, even her tone of voice made what she had to do say better.   I appreciate the hug she gave me when she left. The other thing I would like to tell you is I received a card from Dr. Meg a week or so afterwards and that was just another touch of class that your services extended and it was truly appreciated.

Rufio was pure love and never had a mean bone in his body. They say that we rescue them but I think it’s the other way around. Our lives were so enriched. I was grateful for being able to have Rufio’s last moments to be in his own comfy bed with all that loved him and his big beaver tail wagging.

Dear Dr Forslund,

Thank you for allowing us to say goodbye to our dear girl in the comfort of our hotel room. The work you do is so important. I am sure that there are many people, despite their profound gratitude, who find it difficult to see through their pain to follow-up with you. I know it has taken me a great deal of time. Thank you again for the good, loving work you do. I was so grateful to find you on Yelp, and even more grateful to get such a quick response.

Lucy had always loved the beach, so we planned to stay at Huntington Dog Beach for a day or two... well, she was positively re-energized and we were all having so much fun that we just stayed... and stayed... we stayed for three weeks!!! I figured that this stay cost way less than the chemo treatments and was much more therapeutic. We knew that Lucy was nearing the end of her life. After a year long battle with urinary tract cancer, she had stopped responding to chemo.
